At creative carbon we specialise in pre-preg carbon fibre construction. Pre-preg is the industry name for the resin pre-impregnated carbon fabric used in this process. Here's a simplified explanation to give a basic understanding of the process: The fabric is tailored to shape and placed in to the tool in as many layers and orientations as required then the whole assembly is placed into a vacuum bag, this is to consolidate the laminate.

It is then placed in to either an oven or autoclave and slowly heated to 120deg C and held there for several hours. Once it has cooled down you are left with a very light and strong component!
